I'm travelling and last night at Abu Dhabi International Airport was fascinated by the overall majority of travellers each having sophisticated smart phones - like the more expensive thin ones, and no one sitting as we used to in older days, being fascinated what the other travellers are doing. Instead everyone is glued to a little smart phone screen. Some doing a practised balancing act of kid in the one arm and writing texts with one hand and fingers. Others typing at an enormous speed with both thumbs. Walking can be a disaster as they don't quite have a direction of left and right. Looks as though humans are involving into walking antennae of a kind. Totally distracted from one another. Living in their own little cocoons. They may even be distracted from their travelling companions.
I'm glad I don't have a smart phone to that intensity .... yet.
