I have been playing around a bit with bash on Windows 10 Pro Build 14316 (Insiders Preview).
I am not going to lie, if did in fact feel weird to be using Ubuntu commands on windows however this will become very useful. Think of it as a backwards Wine (Windows Emulator).
This is not a virtual machine or any type of vm container. This is the Ubuntu os running within windows.
