I have been going around the web trying to find a solution to my problem. Every answer I got was to use .htaccess. I will explain in a minute.
I have websites with static webpages (above 20 each) with .php or html extensions and wanted to transfer the platform to Wordpress. If I have to rewrite or even copy and paste each page it will take a lifetime to do. Then somebody suggested using .htaccess.
Also I have websites that have subdirectoriess e.g. mysite(dot)com/blog and would like to merge the blog with the main website without losing link juice because I built thousands of links to posts in the blog section.
Can anybody show me how to use .htaccess in this case?
Thanks.
