This is the common error with some bloggers and site owners who has huge collection of plugins within their site. I have tried many techniques to solve this problem but none of them did help. If you are a WordPress blogger, site owner and wanted to fix this problem there is a couple of things you can do to solve this.
The most common problems nowadays happen with some plugin incompatibility, wherein after installing and activating that plugin you just receive an error saying “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”, your stock and just cant go to the settings or optional page of the plugins then the answer is simple.
First thing you can try by using an FTP software (Filezilla) is to go to the ftp /public_html/wp-content/plugins section of your site where your plugins are located.
Make sure the file permission numeric value is at 777 or if not check all the boxes to do that, after that click OK and close the FTP and go back to the admin section of your blog, this time you will not receive the error message again.
If in case this did not work there could be a conflict with the plugins which is on your site.
Check your plugins and try to deactivate, now go to the plugins again and check them if this thing still shows up, if this one solved the You do not have sufficient permission to access this page then its either you can look for an alternative for that plugin or just disable it while updating or installing plugins on your site, then just activate it again after.
