My website hosted legal audio file, is it breaking rule?

Hi there, I have a music website that hosted songs from local band of my town. I got the file directly from the the bands so i think its legal file. I dont want to get a problem later, so I asking if I can keep the website alive or Gigarank doesnot allow such website exist on the free shared hosting?
