Think this is equally horrible. Looks like the Russian Plane that had gone down in Sinai, Egypt - from Sharm El Sheikh, last month, had a bomb on board. This has now been confirmed by Russia's Putin. So European countries who were being more security focused for flights from Sharm El Shekh were right.
In a way I also feel sorry for the innocent Syrians that the terrorists will no doubt be hiding behind when Russia and France are sending their attack jets to Syria in retribution. In the meanwhile I'm still confused however how thousands of Syrian refugees had been given such easy access to Europe. When all of this is going on. Definitely not all of this is making sense to me.
Quote:Alexander Bortnikov, the head of the FSB (State Security Service), said the plane crash was “unequivocally a terrorist act”. Investigators had studied the personal belongings, baggage and debris from the plane wreckage, he said. “According to our experts, a homemade explosive device equivalent to 1kg of TNT went off onboard, which caused the plane to break up in the air, which explains why the fuselage was scattered over such a large territory.”[...]
Quote:As Russian warplanes struck Raqqa, the Isis base in Syria, and other targets, Putin said: “It [the air campaign] must be intensified in such a way that the criminals understand that retribution is inevitable.”I'm wondering how a bomb could possibly have made it on board in this day and age of tight security at the air ports, or maybe the security had not been tight enough?
