Just had to share this with you all (I know, I tend to post a lot of non-web related material). Another example of Science Fiction becoming Science Fact (in its early stages at least). This so reminds me of holographic avatars from Jack McDevitt's Alex Benedict novels.

Hopefully, this particular application will finally put to rest the holocaust deniers nonsense.
If this technology takes off, imagine the possibilities - memorials, interactive first-hand accounts of major historical events, new heights of narcissism and identity theft/impersonations, etc. With this group on the forum, I am sure most of you can come up with stuff I would never think of.
