Wordpress plugins which do not eat up resources

Hi Guys,

I am sure that many of you use wordpress and a lot of plugins. As per my limited knowledge, all wordpress plugins eats up precious cpu resources and database space. Especially if we are in a shared hosting environment like the free hosting here in gigarank, this can lead to issues if there is too much cpu uage or database usage.

So guys, which plugins (good ones) are the better ones when related to cpu and database usage and which plugins are to be avoided when working with shared hosting.
