So tonight really got upset with Hotmail. I'd say I'm sufficiently protected with plenty of security, so got into my Hotmail account with a password that is a good one by Hotmail's standards. Worked a few minutes on an e-mail reply, and then when I wanted to send the e-mail Hotmail out of the blue asked me to complete a captcha in the middle of sending the e-mail. Problem is that the letters used for the captcha were almost completely illegible. I couldn't make them out for the life of me. I was just waiting for the moment that Hotmail would block my account. I then tried the sound option, and that was completely inaudible. So back to the letters. TOTALLY frustrating. Also dead scared I'd loose the e-mail. Took me more than a minute to write it. Such a waste of time as well.
Has anything like this happened to anyone else? I.e. on top of having to use a really good password to access one's account, one gets tripped up with captchas in the middle of using the Hotmail account as well. Not to mention some of my trusted e-mails that are received being sent to the junk folder even when I've "unjunked" them before. Compared with gmail, Hotmail is starting to flunk the test for me BIG TIME.
