Quote:Today there is an ongoing, large scale Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack directed at Dyn DNS. While Cloudflare services are operating normally, if your customers are using both Cloudflare and Dyn services, your customers’ websites may be affected. Specifically, if you are using Dyn DNS and your customers are on Cloudflare using Partial (CNAME) setup, requests to your customers’ websites may fail due to Dyn DNS’s unavailability, resulting in a “1001” error message. You can fix this immediately by moving your customers’ from the Partial (CNAME) setup, to a Full Zone setup, where your DNS is managed by Cloudflare. To better understand the differences between Partial and Full DNS setup, and learn how to move to the Full Setup option, please review our support article:http://cloudflare.us5.list-manage.com/tr...b3d237f95bFor more information about this issue, please refer to Cloudflare’s blog: http://cloudflare.us5.list-manage.com/tr...b3d237f95b
Note: This change will require the removal of your existing domains which have Partial (CNAME) setup, and re-adding them with full zone setup. Another option as a partner is to use Cloudflare’s Virtual DNS service. Virtual DNS serves as a proxy between your DNS and your customers. This is the biggest DDOS attack of 2016. Many sites including Twitter, Shopify and Spotify suffering outage. Youtube and facebook is really slow for me today. What do you think?
